NASA I-Corps conference courses provide entrepreneurship training to selected teams of US-based university researchers (faculty, grad students, post docs), and early-stage startup founders, who are developing technology innovations in areas of specific importance to NASA.

Each conference course is one month-long and has a unique technology focus; past cohorts have centered on Small Spacecraft and Wildfire Technology Management.

The course begins with two weeks of online training in customer discovery methodology, then culminates with funded travel to a major industry conference, where the teams will interview 30+ potential customers to gain a deeper understanding of the industry and it’s pressing needs.
