The Regenerative Agricultural Innovations, LLC (RAI), led by Dr. Matt Wilson, professor of animal sciences at West Virginia University (WVU), is helping make small farms in West Virginia more sustainable and profitable. Wilson and his team developed a tool to predict individual cattle intake relative to body size, enabling more efficient feed use and better herd management.

Before launching RAI, Dr. Wilson participated in both regional and national I-Corps programs, where he validated the commercial potential of the technology. Since launch, RAI has licensed the technology from WVU, hired its first employee, and is actively pursuing SBIR funding to scale its impact.
