I-Corps alum Biobe, a startup founded at the University of Vermont, is leading the conversation around emotional wellness for children and families. Born from collaborative research with UVM faculty and students, Biobe develops innovative tools that support mental well-being from an early age. Since completing the I-Corps national program in 2023, Biobe has raised over $700k in funding. In 2025, Biobe launched Sprout, which features illustrated cards for children and families, including calming strategies, conversation starters, and creative tools. Biobe continues to champion childhood mental well-being and meaningful connections through research-driven innovation.
